I was holding my breath when this was delivered. The box was smashed and looked like it had been re-taped a few times but nothing was damaged inside. The chair is absolutely beautiful. The color is more like a rich dark eggplant than burgundy, which I love. My office furniture is mahogany and it matches perfectly even though the picture looks like it is a dark cherry. Great price too!
