Fairly comfortable with limited features., September 5, 2009 By In this price range, I would have expected a few more features such as a seperately adjustable chair back and arms. The only adjustments on this chair are the hydraulic virtical adjustment and the tilt adjustment which also has a tension knob. The chair does not tilt back as far as I would have liked it to. The arms have plently of padding as well as the seat cushion and back cushion. Overall this is a very confortable chair right out of the box and is very sturdy. Assembley only took me about two minutes!

Comfortable and roomy, November 17, 2008 By SGR0108 (Nowhere) - See all my reviews I recently picked this chair up after the metal plate on the office chair I'd been using for the past 12 years decided to start coming apart. I looked at a number of low- and mid-priced chairs and settled on the Global after a great deal of consideration.
I am 6'4", so the chair's size was a factor for me. I went to all of the office supply chains, and found that compared to the chair I bought at OD more than a decade ago, the quality of construction has gone sharply downhill - most of the chairs seemed smaller, with one or two having a high enough back to offer head support, and all of them used cheap plastic frames that felt flimsy.
I went to a few privately owned stores, and narrowed my choice down to either the Arturo, or the La-Z-Boy Presidential (which is significantly more expensive). The Arturo seemed to have better back support, was cheaper, and was one of the very few chairs that's tall enough to actually provide head support - taller than my last... Read more
