Comfortable, but bad quality control..., December 27, 2011 By B. Proudfoot (Athens, OH) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: OfficeMax Katharina Manager Chair, Brown 40262 We ordered this through Amazon from Office-Max, after trying one in the store.
After we received the chair, I put it together in about 20 minutes. It was easy to assemble.
The problem here is no quality control: the first chair had off-center, badly aligned bolt-holes drilled in the bottom of the seat. These bolt-holes are used to attach both the chair lift control and the back support.
Once assembled, due to the badly aligned bolt-holes, the back was about 20-30 degrees off-center from the seat.
